Lea Anne McCabe-Ferita lmferita@cordeslawfirm.com has been employed as a paralegal since 1989. She obtained certifications from Robert Morris College in paralegal and employment law and has worked for Attorney Cordes since 1993. Her background includes extensive trial experience as she has participated in more than 35 jury and non-jury trials. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she resides in Forest Hills with her husband and two daughters.

Melissa Damp mdamp@cordeslawfirm.com began working with Samuel Cordes in 1998 as a Legal Assistant. She was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania until she moved to Pittsburgh to attend college. Melissa received an Associates Degree in Secretarial Sciences (Legal) from ICM School of Business in 1991. She enjoys formatting briefs to be filed with the various courts and assisting clients. Melissa is proud to be part of such an outstanding and professional law firm.

Emily Cordes ecordes@cordeslawfirm.com has worked as a legal assistant for Samuel J. Cordes & Associates since 2010. She helps investigate and analyze electronic and paper evidence on behalf of the firm's clients. "My job is a lot like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack," she explains, "Often employment discrimination cases turn on pieces of information buried in all the documents and emails that are generated over the course of an employee's work life with a company. Finding relevant evidence in all those documents can make a big difference." Emily is a 2009 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Smith College.
