I became a lawyer because...
I was seeking a profession where I could make a difference in people's lives.
What I like most about the law is...
The possibility of making the world more fair and just, using the law as a tool.
My most rewarding case was....
Years ago, Sam and I had a race discrimination case in which we represented two Djs who had been fired by a radio station that had come under new management. Everything about the case was fascinating - the culture of radio (which was changing at the time and has changed even more since then), the evidence in the case, and of course, the clients who were both wonderful and memorable. We achieved a great result for the clients and learned a lot along the way.
Someone I really admire is...
As an employment lawyer, it has to be Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
My favorite quote is...
The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
When not at work, I enjoy...
I am never bored! You will often find me outside - in the garden, in the woods, somewhere near water, or else on a couch with my cat and a good book.
